FACT CHECK: No official cash allowances for students
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

FALSE. A Facebook post claims that students can receive monthly cash allowances of ₱7,000 (elementary), ₱12,000 (high school), and ₱18,000 (college) through provided registration links.

FACT. There is no verified government program that gives these monthly cash amounts to all students. DepEd, CHED, and UniFAST confirm that legitimate student financial assistance is limited to scholarships, vouchers, or subsidies, not universal cash stipends. The links in the post are not official and may be phishing attempts.

Some posts use official-looking logos or names to appear credible, but they are circulated by unverified social media pages. Students and parents are advised to only rely on official agency announcements.
