FALSE. A Facebook post by Philippine Morning News claims that Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon was spotted in Paris, France, and was “transacting with Zaldy Co.”

FACT. Secretary Dizon confirmed that he traveled to Paris with his family for the holidays, as his brother-in-law, Philippine Ambassador Eduardo Jose De Vega, is posted there. There is no verified evidence that Dizon met or conducted any transaction with Zaldy Co. while in Paris.

Photos of Dizon in Paris were shared online by private individuals, but they do not confirm any meeting or financial dealings.

Government officials are free to travel abroad for personal reasons.

A DPWH order restricting travel expired in November 2025, and no new rules prevent such trips.
