FACT CHECK: Karen Davila did NOT say she is “willing to die” for the Duterte family
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

FALSE. A viral post claims broadcast journalist Karen Davila said she is “willing to die” for the Duterte family.

FACT. There is no credible evidence, verified record, or official transcript showing Davila made such a statement.

A viral TikTok post attributed to “Solid North News Media” features a graphic claiming Davila expressed extreme loyalty to the Duterte family. The post circulated widely online despite lacking proof from legitimate or accredited news organizations.

The claim originates from an unverified page posing as a news outlet. “Solid North News Media” is not an accredited media organization and provides no video, audio, transcript, or official statement to support the alleged quote.

A review of Davila’s interviews, broadcasts, and official platforms shows no instance of her making such a remark. No reputable news organization has reported the statement, and there is no supporting evidence, indicating the claim is fabricated.
