Fact Check: Apple David and Chad Gammad have broken up
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The claim circulated online and gained public attention, with the post reportedly receiving 16.1K reactions, 1.6K comments, and 646 shares. It claimed that the couple had ended their relationship but presented no verified source or official announcement.

Chad denied the breakup rumor, calling the circulating post “fake news” and asking, “Pake news po kung nagtataka kayo.”

Apple previously said, “We’re happy” and that their families were supportive, with no statement confirming a breakup.

The circulating content was also AI-generated, making it an unreliable basis for the claim. Credible entertainment reports instead documented Chad’s denial of the rumor.

Their relationship has drawn attention partly because of their 15-year age gap and their different fields, with Chad known as a basketball player, while Apple is a sports journalist. Their relationship gained public attention after Apple’s May 22 social media post

As their relationship continues to attract attention, claims about the couple can quickly spread and gain engagement online. However, the lack of a verified announcement and Chad’s direct denial show why the breakup claim should not be treated as fact.
